Garage Francorchamps Moves Lexus In

Belgium's most famous Ferrari centre, Garage Francorchamps - based at Lozenberg near Brussels - is preparing to take on administrative duties for Lexus when it opens in November after a redevelopment programme.

Garage Francorchamps, the original Ferrari import agency previously owned by former Ferrari works driver Jacques Swatter, was acquired two years ago by UK-based Ferrari importer Maranello Concessionaires. Since Maranello also handles both Ferrari and Toyota in Belgium, the combining of distribution operations for the Italian marque and Toyota's prestige Lexus brand was a natural decision, said Maranello's new managing director Richard Mackay.
