World Championship Points Permutations
17.8.01

If Michael Schumacher were to win this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix then the Drivers' World Championship will be his irrespective of where anyone else finishes. It is mathematically possible for Coulthard, R. Schumacher and Barrichello to still win the Championship if Michael were to finish lower than 1st. The table below gives the various permutations depending upon Schuey's finishing position:
