The Prodrive 550 (Enge/ Menu/Rydell) ran fast, led its class all the way to a 4.50am retirement. It was up to 13th overall.	Just two drivers in the Auto Palace 360 (Gomez/ Fukuda); had endless electrical problems and retired at 5.10am.
JMB 360 of Short/Wagner/ Hancock was one of the first retirements: out at 6.18pm with accident damage.	All US team in the other JMB 360 (Schultheis/Earle/ MacAllister) kept going till 3.30am when electrics cried enough.
