Following detailed discussions the Ferrari Owners' Club has reached agreement with Jonathan Palmer's company, MotorSport Vision, for the 2005 Pirelli Maranello Ferrari Challenge to be run in partnership with MSV's race organisation. This will be the 20th year in which this series, organised by the FOC, will be run.

As in previous years, the Challenge will be contested over 14 rounds of which 10 will be at UK circuits and 4 abroad. It is anticipated that the final list of dates will be published by the end of the month but will include races at Brands Hatch (Indy and GP circuits), Oulton Park, Donington Park, Castle Combe and Snetterton. The overseas rounds will be contested at Spa-Francorchamps and Monza. In all cases the PMFC will run as part of the Palmer Formula Audi package.

The Pirelli Maranello Ferrari Challenge is heading for its 20th season

The Brands Hatch GP event will be titled 'Ferrari Festival' and, as well as PMFC, it is planned that other race series invited to take part will include the factory-run European 360 Challenge, Shell Historics, and the FOC's Ferrari formula classic series. There will be circuit time allocated to members of the Ferrari Owners' Club to take the opportunity of taking their Ferraris round the circuit. A dedicated car park will be made available for Club members to display their cars.

Wherever possible, events will be double-headers. As well as at the Ferrari Festival, at certain of these events we shall be organising races in the 2005 Ferrari formula classic series. The overseas race meeting next year for Ferrari formula classic will be at Zandvoort subject to final confirmation.

It is very much hoped to involve members of the official Ferrari UK dealership organisation in this race programme.
