Brit GT: Ferraris Finish With Another Win
by Arthur Beattie
11.10.05

Scuderia Ecosse's Nathan Kinch & Andrew Kirkaldy won both races at Silverstone last weekend, making it 11 wins out of 13; they started from pole position, having achieved a 100% qualifying record. They had already tied up the Drivers' title, but team mates Chris Niarchos and Tim Mullen secured second place with a second in Race 1 (aided by the Embassy Porsche being hit by a stop-go penalty) and fourth in Race 2.

Phil Burton and Adam Wilcox's Vision Marketing, JMH Automotive-run 360 was first Ferrari home in GT3 in Race 1. In Race 2 the honours went to Marco Attard & Nick Adam's Damax 360.

United Christian Broadcasters' 360 driven by Hector Lester and ex. BoyZone star Shane Lynch came home 16th in Race 1 and 15th in Race 2. Lester is the top Ferrari driver in the GT3 Drivers' Championship, finishing fourth and was partnered for most of the year by Aussie ace Allan Simonsen, who finished sixth.
