Former popette and new mum Britney Spears was out cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway the other day in husband Kevin's 360 Spider (s/n not known) with her brother Bryan at the wheel, when suddenly it ground to a halt.

The paparazzi who dog her every move proved to be a blessing for once, as they parked their vehicles up and rushed to the rescue, pushing the stricken Fazza out of the busy traffic.

The snappers radioed for assistance and a Sheriff's vehicle appeared minutes later to whisk Britney and her bro away.

Mind you it didn't take long for these pics to be circulating on the internet.
