Sunday (15th) saw the Club’s Hillclimbers out in good numbers at the lovely Curborough sprint course nr. Lichfield for a day of competition with favourable weather. Numbers were boosted with the welcome addition of the Hitchman family out in three cars, Lorraine in her recent F430 Spider acquisition. Paul Skinner also came along in his 308 (Dixie) to watch an outstanding tussle for first place between Nick Taylor (pic) and David Snelson, both in F430s. During the three timed runs these two were within 10ths of a second of each other culminating in a final run that gave a scratch win for Snelson by 0.2s. Third place went to John Kennedy in his beautiful California T. The full report is posted here.
The report for the previous round of the championship, at Hethel, is also available here.
