Richard Preece tells us that the Gods arranged perfect weather for the latest round of our Pirelli Ferrari Hillclimb Championship at the lovely Prescott hill near Cheltenham. The morning saw a very early start for our drivers as new tarmac on the course necessitated a walk and checkout before 1st practice in cool but dry conditions. By the timed runs the weather was sunny with the tarmac warm and grippy. All our drivers performed well, and a great battle for first was seen by the very welcome spectators who are now allowed to attend. Old hand Nick Taylor, in a F430, took the scratch win by 0.3 of a second from the closing Dave Snelson in a similar steed. Newbie john Kennedy (California T) benefited from his recent Prescott Picnic runs to take third place a second and a half behind Snelson. Full report and results soon.
