A cold but dry Donington Park National circuit saw the opening round of the inaugural Bell Sport Challenge racing series and a strong grid of Ferrari Challenge cars lined up to contest races 1 & 2.
Running across 4 classes, the first round’s two races saw a mix of 360, 430 and 488 Challenge cars (including a 430 GT3) lining up on the famous Donington Park National circuit on a very busy opening race weekend of the 2023 season with everything from the Porsche Club Championship to GT Cup alongside on the bill.
It was a hard charging Wayne Marrs that dominated the first round – topping qualifying and winning both races although strong performances from Andy Christopher (430) and Darren Goes (488) kept him on his toes.
