The 24th Northern Ferrari Day at Vale Royal Abbey was another sellout, 130 people for lunch, 78 cars and so many members from other area groups making the trip for the day.
Besides North West members, Wales, Lakeland and Anglia members came along plus a strong contingent who made their was across the Pennines from Yorkshire.
A massive thank you to Andy, Francesca and Gavin for the marshalling throughout the day, we do appreciate the efforts of our members.
The raffle for Cancer Research raised £1,500.00, thanks to the kind donations from members and sponsor companies and our team of intrepid ticket sellers.
Following lunch we were treated to stories about the exploits of a historic racing driver, Willie Green. Competition in the Concours was stronger than ever, and after lunch the prize giving began, Congratulations to all our winners, including Chris and Charlotte Edwards with their 599 scooping the Champions trophy and entry into the Concours at the Goodwood Ferrari Weekend.
