The Club’s second Pista Day of 2022 at Goodwood took place 28th May, with a welcome return to normal operations after two years of disturbance. Hospitality for the track day participants was once again served in the Jackie Stewart Pavilion with the endless tea and coffee proving as popular as ever.
In complete contrast to last year the weather could only be described as perfect for circuit driving. Dry but not too hot with sunshine and a light breeze, this suited those in Ferraris such as the F8 Spider or the drop dead gorgeous Dino 246 GTS as they could drop the top and wear helmets without running into headroom issues.
42 Ferraris took to the track for the Parade, with the grid line up coinciding nicely with the arrival of a member by air. As one participant put it, “best traffic jam I have ever been in”.
