Joint champions as SFHC season ends at Shelsley Walsh

Sunday 13th September heralded the final round of the championship at Shelsley Walsh in deep Worcestershire. The overnight rain had made for a wet arrival at the venue. Rather unusually the competitors in the Superformance Ferrari Hillclimb Championship were to run in batch one, meaning we were first up the hill at in wet conditions.

Dave Snelson started the day leading the championship by just two points, but having the 2% Success Equaliser Percentage (SEP) for taking the top spot in the previous round at Gurston Down, could Dave secure the championship or would the challenger, Rob Samuels, deliver a strong performance and close the gap?
