Thankfully, another great success, as one guest put it, ‘this event just keeps on getting better and better’.
Though there were a couple of last minute cancellations owing to illness, we still had 102 guests from 11 Area Groups from across South of England with 52 Ferraris, a 250 GTO ‘recreation’ and a 1932 Alfa Romeo 6C, all in attendance. There were also some lovely older tipos present – 275 GTB, 275 GTS and couple of 250 GTE’s and 246GT Dinos, and others. The weather was thankfully cooler but dry with sunny periods and the food quality improved yet again.

This year we also had additional parking assistance from the Events Team allowing Anthony and myself more time to ‘meet and greet’. Apart from our traditional Concours we also had Rob Leach’s ‘Pride of Ownership’ Awards comprising 10 different tipos from Francis’s early 308 GT4 through to a Pista and an 812 GTS. A full report and photos of this year’s event will appear in a future edition of the Club’s magazine, Ferrari.

As regards Rob Leach’s newly inaugurated ‘Pride of Ownership Awards‘ (otherwise known as the ‘POO’ awards), the top 3 were:
