A perfect start to the summer on Sunday 21st May saw record crowds line the high street for the annual visit from the Cotswolds Ferrari Owners’ Club. They were treated to a procession and display of over 25 cars ranging from three stunning variations on the elegant 1960’s 250 GT  through to the very latest futuristic looking 2023 296 GTB hybrid.

Notable cars amongst those on display included a 1960 250 GT Pinninfarina Coupe with its original running gear, but converted with new subframe and handcrafted alloy body to become a long wheel base California Spyder. This painstaking work was done by Stephen Pilkington whose daughter Suzie kindly brought it along for us to enjoy.

A 1963 250 GTE was brought along by Ivan Dutton, British Production Saloon Car Champion in 1973 who at 83 years young is the star of the Shed Racing You Tube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/@shed_racing

Another car of note was the 1963 250 GTE race car rebodied as Testa Rossa in the early 1980’s. This car has an extensive racing history holding 5 lap records and winning a number of races for Pre-1965 sports cars. It’s equipped with its original but race modified 3L V12 engine, gearbox and chassis. It now enjoys life exclusively as a road car with owner Darren Hills.

Members enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch at Russell’s before heading home late in the afternoon. Special thanks to Robin Goldsmith and his team of marshals who kept everyone safe and the people of Broadway and surrounding areas for the warm welcome.
